1. About these terms
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of eMeerut, a Meerut-focused local directory, discovery, community and business-services platform managed by Vermosys Techno Private Limited, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.
By accessing or using eMeerut, you agree to these terms and to applicable laws of India. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.
2. What eMeerut provides
eMeerut provides local discovery tools, business listings, area and category pages, community profiles, jobs, events, reviews, enquiries, information submissions and optional paid visibility or service plans. Features may change, be suspended or be discontinued as the platform develops.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity carried out through your account. You must provide information that is reasonably accurate and must not impersonate another person or create an account for unlawful purposes.
4. Business listings
Business owners and authorised representatives may submit listings and claim existing listings. You represent that you have the authority to submit the information and media you provide. eMeerut may request ownership or identity evidence and may approve, reject, edit, hide or remove a listing when information is inaccurate, misleading, duplicated, unlawful, abusive or otherwise inconsistent with these terms.
5. Paid plans and payments
Featured and Premium business listings, job-posting packages and other paid services are subject to the plan description, price, validity and payment method displayed at the time of purchase. Online payments may be processed through a third-party payment gateway. Bank-transfer payments remain subject to verification before a paid service is activated.
Prices are shown in Indian Rupees unless otherwise stated. Taxes, if applicable, will be handled according to the applicable tax requirements and the transaction information presented at checkout.
6. Reviews, enquiries and user content
Reviews and community submissions must be genuine, relevant and based on your own experience or lawful knowledge. You must not post defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, fraudulent, obscene, copyrighted or privacy-invasive material. Reviews may be moderated and will be publicly displayed only after approval where the feature requires approval.
Business enquiries are intended to connect a genuine visitor with the relevant business. Do not use the messaging system for spam, harassment, scams or unlawful solicitations.
7. Prohibited conduct
- Misrepresenting ownership of a business or submitting false verification documents.
- Creating fake reviews, enquiries, jobs, events or profiles.
- Attempting to bypass access controls, payment controls or moderation systems.
- Uploading malware or content intended to disrupt the website.
- Using eMeerut to facilitate fraud, unlawful financial activity, harassment or infringement of another person's rights.
- Collecting or publishing another person's personal information without lawful authority.
8. Content and intellectual property
You retain rights you already hold in content you submit, but grant eMeerut a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, display and distribute that content as necessary to operate, promote and improve the relevant eMeerut service. You must have the rights required to grant this licence.
The eMeerut name, branding, software, original design, editorial material and other platform content belong to or are licensed to the platform or its licensors and may not be copied or exploited without permission.
9. Accuracy and third-party businesses
eMeerut is a discovery platform and does not guarantee that every third-party business, price, opening hour, review, job, event or offer is current, accurate, available or suitable for you. Users should independently verify important information before making a purchase, visiting a premises, sharing sensitive information or relying on a business claim.
10. Availability and liability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, eMeerut and its management are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on third-party listings, user content, service interruptions or transactions between users and businesses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Suspension and removal
We may suspend or terminate accounts, listings, reviews, messages or other content where reasonably necessary for security, moderation, fraud prevention, legal compliance or breach of these terms. Where appropriate, users may contact us to request review of a moderation decision.

For complaints, privacy requests, content concerns or other notices, contact eMeerut through the website or india@vermosys.com. We will review complaints in accordance with our applicable internal processes and the law.
